Job description
About the role
The Senior Human Capital (HC) Business Partner advises Oliver Wyman Actuarial's Property & Casualty and Life practices as a senior strategic advisor embedded with practice leadership. - Take part in practice leadership discussions and anticipate organizational challenges, partnering with the Director of HC and other HC colleagues on solutions.
- Lead and support change initiatives, including change management plans, stakeholder engagement and communications, while protecting colleague engagement and culture.
- Support workforce planning, leadership development and talent reviews, coach leaders on people management and leadership, and use workforce analytics dashboards to inform decisions.
- Partner with Talent Development on performance management, including mid-year and year-end processes, and coach leaders on performance decisions.
- Work with Employee Relations on sensitive matters and investigations, and with Recruiting to align hiring plans with business needs.
- Analyze engagement survey results and pulse survey feedback, monitor retention risks and organizational health indicators, and plan actions to improve colleague experience and belonging.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HC processes, lead by example in the use of AI in HC, and oversee, coach and support HC Coordinators and other shared HC colleagues.
