Senior GIS Partner Manager - Utilities, Telecom, Rail

About the role

Esri is looking for a Senior GIS Partner Manager based in Denver to build and strengthen relationships with systems integrators and business partners who adopt Esri's technology. The role increases revenue and drives Esri's presence in utilities, telecom and rail, working closely with internal teams and the distributor network to help partners take full advantage of the technology.

Key responsibilities

• Work with account managers, business development and industry marketing leads to develop sales and marketing plans for partners, and help partners align their plans with Esri's strategic goals
• Identify and pursue sales opportunities with existing partners and systems integrators, using CRM to manage opportunities and drive the buying process
• Engage new and existing key partners in the Esri Partner Network Program, help them craft go-to-market plans and refine Esri-based solutions and offerings
• Help drive Partner Network business goals, present on behalf of Esri at key events and recruit new business partners

Required profile

• 5+ years of enterprise sales, consulting or program management experience
• Experience in utilities, telecom or rail, and managing the sales cycle and building partnerships
• Domestic and international experience with a partner network and systems integrators
• Bachelor's degree in GIS, business administration or a related field; visa sponsorship not available, U.S. work authorization required
• Willingness to travel domestically or internationally 25-50%

Required skills

• Advanced experience creating and managing sales strategies and development plans for partners, national accounts and industries
• Channel management and business partner development, with an industry channel strategy
• Familiarity with Esri technology for partner campaigns
• Preferred: general knowledge of data science or spatial analysis, awareness of marketing tactics, and a Master's degree
