Senior FP&A Manager

About the role

A newly created senior finance position supporting a shared‑services group of 30+ construction, manufacturing and industrial companies. The role leads ERP conversions, improves financial and operational processes, and drives project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Define requirements, map processes, validate and migrate data, test functionality and support ERP transitions.
• Investigate financial and operational issues, identify root causes and implement improvements, including on‑site support.
• Coordinate project teams, communicate progress and ensure completion of system and workflow changes.
• Evaluate profitability, margins, WIP, inventory and cost variances across businesses.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting or finance experience with operational exposure in construction or manufacturing.
• Proven experience leading finance‑focused system implementation or process‑improvement projects.
• Strong analytical ability to trace operational activity through system transactions to financial reporting.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with finance, operations and external partners.

Required skills

• ERP platforms such as Epicor, Acumatica, JD Edwards, Oracle or Fourth Shift.
• Advanced Excel.
• Power BI or similar data‑analysis and reporting tools.
