Senior Enterprise Endpoint Engineer

About the role

The Senior Enterprise Endpoint Engineer will lead the design, implementation, and management of Georgetown University’s enterprise endpoint environment. This senior technical expert ensures a reliable, secure, and scalable desktop computing platform across Windows, macOS, and mobile devices.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and maintain endpoint configuration management systems such as JAMF, SCCM, and Tanium.
• Develop, test, and deploy complex automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for OS deployment, software distribution, and security patching.
• Provide top‑tier support and troubleshooting for macOS and Windows operating systems.
• Define and document enterprise‑wide best practices, security standards, and technical roadmaps for endpoint management.
• Lead cross‑functional projects related to endpoint security, device rollouts, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with the University Information Security Office to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Mentor junior staff on endpoint management techniques and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• At least 10 years of progressive, hands‑on experience in enterprise‑level IT, with deep expertise in Windows and macOS system administration.
• Proven experience designing and managing large‑scale endpoint environments.
