Senior Data Analyst

About the role

Sagetap is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to act as the strategic analytics partner for Product, Growth, Engineering, Design, and Leadership. You will use data to shape product strategy, influence roadmap decisions, and drive marketplace growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product analytics function, defining KPIs, building reporting, and creating scalable datasets.
• Design, evaluate, and scale A/B tests and product experiments to inform decisions.
• Build executive‑ready dashboards and self‑service reporting for Product, GTM, and Leadership.
• Maintain analytics datasets using DBT and modern data modeling best practices.
• Partner with senior leadership to answer strategic business questions and influence priorities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in product, growth, or data analytics, preferably in B2B SaaS or marketplace environments.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear executive recommendations.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable thriving in ambiguity.

Required skills

• Expert SQL.
• Python for data engineering and analytics.
• Hands‑on experience with DBT.
• Familiarity with Mixpanel and Omni (or similar BI tools).
• Version control using Git.
