Senior Claims Consultant

About the role

Join Main Street Renewal’s growing team as a Senior Claims Consultant, providing expert oversight of complex property, catastrophe, liability, auto, and workers' compensation claims. This hybrid position in Austin offers the chance to influence claim outcomes and drive operational improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee complex claims, evaluate investigations, reserves, settlement recommendations, and coverage determinations.
• Lead catastrophe and large‑loss property claim reviews, coordinating with carriers, TPAs, engineers, and forensic accountants.
• Serve as liaison with TPAs, carriers, brokers, attorneys, and vendors, challenging decisions and negotiating favorable outcomes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less‑experienced claims professionals and identify emerging claim trends.
• Identify process improvement opportunities, develop KPIs, and support technology initiatives for claims workflow optimization.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with at least 8 years of progressive insurance claims experience.
• Demonstrated expertise handling complex property and casualty claims and strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
