Senior Business Solutions Consultant – Finance & Manufacturing

About the role

The Senior Business Solutions Consultant partners with finance leaders, functional managers and senior executives to design and implement finance‑driven solutions in a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on financial processes, controlling, cost accounting and reporting while ensuring tight integration with production, supply chain and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Finance & Controlling subject‑matter expert for manufacturing, covering financial accounting, cost accounting, product costing, WIP, variance analysis and inventory valuation.
• Analyze end‑to‑end financial processes, translate requirements into ERP designs and advise stakeholders throughout change.
• Lead finance‑related sub‑projects, prepare customers for go‑live, and support stabilization activities.
• Promote best‑practice manufacturing finance within Abas and define functional enhancements where needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams, report progress and risks to the Project Manager.
• Support pre‑sales activities, including tender processing, scope estimation and finance‑focused implementation proposals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, IT, Operations Management or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years as a Business Solution Consultant or 5+ years as an ERP user with strong finance or controlling experience in manufacturing.
• Proven expertise in manufacturing finance concepts such as costing methods, inventory valuation and integration with production.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.
