Senior Associate, Brand Strategy

About the role

Lippincott, a global brand, marketing and experience consultancy within Oliver Wyman, is hiring a Senior Associate for its Brand Strategy practice in New York. The role sets the direction and holds the team to account, structuring how cases are solved and guiding the team toward deliverables that combine rigor and creativity. It is a hybrid position, with new hires working from the office 3 days per week for the first 6 months, then choosing between 2 and 3 days per week.

Key responsibilities

• Shape and oversee brand opportunities grounded in business strategy, competitive dynamics and customer insight
• Structure project workplans, guide team workflow and develop junior team members
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations and delivering recommendations
• Build client relationships and contribute to new business development
• Conduct in-depth interviews with client leadership and stakeholders
• Manage case team resources, including talent, intellectual capital and budget
• Lead presentation storylines and frameworks and deliver them
• Oversee analysis of quantitative and qualitative research, partnering with analytics specialists as needed

Required profile

• At least 8 years of full-time experience in strategy consulting or a consulting environment, focused on brand and/or business strategy
• An MBA is welcome but not necessary
• Track record of building, motivating and leading teams
• Ability to lead multiple client projects simultaneously and independently, and to influence multi-disciplinary teams
• Excellent presentation and writing skills, able to communicate from C-suite to entry level
• Openness to travel as needed

What we offer

• Base pay of $150,000 - $190,000, depending on experience, skills, location, certifications and education
