Senior Advertising Account Executive, Clinical/Medical

About the role

Springer Nature is seeking a Senior Advertising Account Executive to drive growth of its clinical and medical advertising portfolio. Based in New York with a hybrid work model, you will partner with the Global Head of Clinical Promotions and regional sales teams to sell digital and print advertising solutions across leading medical publications.

Key responsibilities

• Sell commercial advertising projects across print and online assets within an assigned territory.
• Achieve sales targets by building long‑term relationships and generating new business opportunities.
• Maintain high visibility in the territory, develop account lists, and deepen client engagement.
• Collaborate with internal commercial teams and other departments to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging advertising technologies.
• Attend industry events, conduct client visits, and represent Springer Nature at relevant forums.
• Record sales activities accurately using Salesforce and other designated tools.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or sales support, preferably in advertising or media.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage a pipeline of accounts.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment and collaborating across global teams.
