Security Architect (TS/SCI) - Enterprise AI Platform

About the role

Leidos is hiring a TS/SCI Security Engineer Solution Architect to support the creation of an Enterprise AI Platform and Digital Services Framework for a Defense Intelligence Enterprise (DIE) client. The role provides technical security expertise in a primarily cloud infrastructure, guiding teams through the Risk Management Framework to system ATOs across multiple domains. Work is done remotely and on-site, primarily in the National Capital Region.

Key responsibilities

• Guide the team to streamline ATO management processes with engineering solutions and best practices
• Lead the architecture and implementation of a streamlined security, governance and accreditation support model, including automating compliance processes
• Provide technical guidance to team members and interact directly with the client CIO and Security POCs
• Create, improve and maintain security policies and procedures
• Give guidance on OS hardening and system patching based on DISA STIGs and NIST publications
• Analyze security incidents and recommend resolutions
• Manage project priorities, deliverables and deadlines, and foster collaboration with Program Management, Security and System Engineers

Required profile

• BS degree with 15+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's with 15+ years of relevant experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph
• At least one DoD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II certification (CISSP, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, CSSLP or CASP+ CE); CISSP Associate is not acceptable
• Familiarity with NIST SP 800-27, 30, 37, 53, 60 and CNSSI 1253
• Experience supporting DoD/IC systems through the full RMF+ process to ATO, incident response, POA&Ms, risk and vulnerability management plans, and SSE processes
• Experience managing a team of Cyber Security Engineers and ISSOs

Pay range: $154,050 - $278,475.
