Scientist, In Vivo Cancer Modeling

About the role

Cloverleaf Bio is seeking an experienced in‑vivo Scientist to join its early‑stage therapeutics team in Boston. You will work closely with the founding team to create and develop a novel family of engineered RNA therapeutics.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute animal experiments in mice, including tissue collection and drug administration (IV and sub‑Q).
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee toxicity, pharmacology, and efficacy studies at CROs.
• Perform in‑vitro experiments to characterize mechanism and potency of candidate RNAs.
• Provide in‑vivo pharmacology and physiology expertise to accelerate tRNA therapeutic development.

Required profile

• PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with mouse disease models, especially oncology.
• Proven ability to independently plan, execute, analyze, and interpret in‑vivo studies.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills in a fast‑paced startup environment.

• Data analysis and interpretation for in‑vivo studies.
• Flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry (IHC), and ELISA.
