Senior QC Chemistry Investigator

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Senior QC Chemistry Investigator to lead and troubleshoot chemistry investigations at the ASPEX facility in Fort Worth, Texas. You will work within the Quality & Regulatory Affairs function, ensuring products meet global and internal quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Drive deviation investigations to true root cause using root cause analysis tools.
• Identify and implement effective CAPAs to prevent re‑occurrence.
• Analyze technical data for finished products, raw materials, in‑process materials, release test samples or stability samples.
• Collaborate with functional departments to meet site objectives such as on‑time release and key projects.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and laboratory best practices.
• Assist with microbiology investigations and perform process equipment alarm deviations and mitigations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (or high school + 10 years, Associate + 6 years, M.S. + 0 years).
• Minimum 2 years of relevant QC chemistry experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing and communicating in English.
