Sales Representative - Infection Prevention (Sage)

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Sage Sales Representative in Spokane, WA, a field-based role focused on infection prevention. You will promote and sell Sage products designed to address preventable never-events in healthcare, while building strong customer relationships, handling inquiries and negotiating pricing. The role is 100% commission and is eligible for bonuses and benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with key account influencers, distributors and end-users to defend your business base and achieve your assigned quota.
• Act as a resident Sage expert for clinical specialists, nurses, educators and administrators, covering your own products and competitors' offerings.
• Deliver a consultative, problem-solving approach with honesty and integrity, and partner with customers on protocol and process improvement.
• Position yourself as a consultant with clinical knowledge and healthcare insight.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and regulatory shifts.
• Monitor performance and collaborate with marketing and support teams.

Required profile

• High school diploma and 5+ years of professional experience (continued experience in sales or a clinical setting).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license in the state of residence and a good driving record.
• Able to lift, set up and demonstrate equipment up to 50 pounds, and to spend long periods standing, sitting, kneeling or bending.
• Ability to coordinate eye, hand and foot movements, read and retain information, and handle materials such as fabrics, Velcro, zippers, rubber and metal components.

Required skills

• Knowledge of marketing, market research, new product development and introduction, P&L management and field testing.
• Consultative sales approach and customer service.

Travel percentage is 60%. The role is field-based and may require obtaining a COVID-19 vaccination depending on customer requirements.
