Sales Associate - Territory Account Manager

About the role

The Chefs' Warehouse, a specialty food distributor serving chefs, restaurant owners and foodservice operators, is looking for a Sales Associate. You will be the face of the company in your territory, building trusted relationships with chefs and helping them find products and solutions that improve their menus and operations. The role offers the chance to grow a portfolio of accounts, win new business and earn through an uncapped commission structure.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with chefs, restaurant owners and foodservice operators and act as the main point of contact in your territory
• Help customers discover products and solutions that elevate their menus and improve their operations
• Develop and expand a portfolio of accounts and win new business
• Manage your territory autonomously, supported by a team of sales, culinary, protein and produce experts

Required profile

• Experience in restaurant sales, food sales, catering, hospitality, culinary or other customer-facing roles is preferred; experience as a chef or working closely with foodservice professionals is a plus
• Relationship-focused, positive and self-motivated, with strong communication and organization skills
• Results-driven, able to use data to inform decisions
• Resides within commuting distance of the assigned territory and has reliable transportation
• A college degree is preferred but not required

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite preferred
