Junior Sales Representative

About the role

The Chefs' Warehouse, a distributor of food service ingredients serving chefs worldwide, is looking for a Junior Sales Representative. The role supports the sales team by entering orders, keeping account data accurate and providing administrative help, while maintaining good relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into the system accurately and promptly.
• Work with inside sales reps to keep account activity and sales literature up to date.
• Maintain customer data for current and prospective accounts.
• Coordinate with logistics and customer service for timely order fulfillment.
• Help prepare sales, order and inventory reports; track stock levels and assist with inventory management.
• Provide administrative support: customer communication logs, documentation and customer files.
• Assist with customer inquiries on order status and product availability, and help process sales contracts and paperwork.

Required profile

• Highly organized, able to multitask and work well independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Excellent communication skills and professional interaction with customers and colleagues.
• Proactive, self-starter who learns quickly and meets deadlines in a fast pace.
• Ability to live in the assigned geographic area.
• A college degree is a plus but not required.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of sales processes and customer relationship management is a plus.
