Sales Representative - CNC Machinery Distribution

About the role

MP Systems, a division of the Morris Group Inc, designs high-pressure coolant systems, chillers, coolant filtration systems and accessories for machine tools. It is looking for a results-driven Sales Representative who understands the CNC and machinery industry and sells mainly through distribution channels. The role focuses on building relationships with distributors and end-users and offering tailored solutions for product longevity and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to reach sales targets in the CNC and machinery industry.
• Identify and prioritize potential distributors and end-users, and build lasting relationships with distribution partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor on product offerings and solutions.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations.
• Work with technical and support teams to resolve customer issues quickly.
• Stay informed on industry trends, market developments and competitor activity.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports and updates to management.
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Proven sales track record, preferably in the CNC and machinery industry.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels and experience selling through distributors.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and in a team; able to travel as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance and to work in industrial environments.
