Sales Development Representative (Remote, US)

About the role

Join Avian’s founding sales team in the US as the first voice prospects hear. You will drive outbound outreach, book qualified meetings, and feed pipeline for account executives, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high‑volume phone outreach to plant managers, maintenance leaders, safety officers and other decision‑makers to generate interest and schedule meetings.
• Leverage trade shows by pre‑qualifying attendees, securing booth meetings, and following up promptly after events.
• Qualify prospects quickly, assess urgency, and hand off vetted opportunities to account executives with clear context.
• Identify and engage sister sites of satisfied customers to expand footprint across multiple facilities.
• Utilize ZoomInfo for prospect data, HubSpot for outreach automation, and AI tools (Claude, Artisan) for research and draft messaging.
• Document successful scripts, objections handling, and target lists to build a reusable playbook.

Required profile

• Hunter mentality – proactive in finding leads and resilient to rejection.
• Excellent phone presence – able to capture attention of busy industrial leaders.
• Curious about industrial operations and eager to learn sector specifics.
• Competitive, coachable and motivated to advance beyond the SDR role.
• Highly organized with disciplined CRM hygiene and follow‑up.
• Experience using AI tools to accelerate prospect research and outreach.
