Room Attendant (Part Time)

About the role

The Loews Arlington Hotel and Convention Center, an 888-room resort in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, is hiring a friendly, detail-oriented Room Attendant on a part-time basis. The role keeps guest rooms and bathrooms clean and tidy so guests enjoy a high standard of cleanliness and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Replace linens and amenities, and report maintenance needs such as broken light bulbs or defective equipment.
• Report suspicious behaviour, lost items, unsecured valuables and other discrepancies to supervisors.
• Keep cleaning carts and linen closets organised and stocked, and use supplies properly.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when needed.
• Know the hotel's facilities, locations and opening hours to help guests accurately.
• Wear the proper uniform, follow personal appearance standards and report to work on schedule.
• Maintain professional, friendly guest relations and follow OSHA safety protocols and housekeeping policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning experience preferred.
• Previous hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Able to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to lift and move items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
