Room Attendant

About the role

The Loews Arlington Hotel, part of Loews Hotels & Co., is hiring a Room Attendant for its large-scale resort and meetings environment in Arlington's sports district. The property supports 888 rooms, five dining venues, pools, spa services and 266,000 square feet of event space, with skybridge access to Live! by Loews. The role combines efficiency with care to keep every room feeling like a home away from home.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets so supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior and irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Tell guests accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance, follow uniform standards and give friendly, helpful guest interactions.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemicals and emergencies.
• Work regular attendance, varying schedules including weekends and holidays, and attend all mandatory training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning, hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to lift and move items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
