Room Attendant

About the role

Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, is looking for a detail-driven Room Attendant to keep its 341 upscale rooms clean and welcoming. The role combines efficiency with care, ensuring every room feels like a home away from home and reflecting the hotel's commitment to comfort and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets so supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behavior and irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and assist in related areas when needed.
• Tell guests accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform standards.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemicals and emergencies.
• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and attend all mandatory training.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning, hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to lift and move items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic English skills preferred.
