Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, is looking for a passionate, detail-driven Housekeeping Manager to lead its housekeeping team. The hotel supports 341 upscale rooms, two dining venues and 24,000 sq. ft. of event space, and the manager will create immaculate spaces that elevate the guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations so rooms and public spaces meet the hotel's exacting standards
• Analyze room turns and staffing needs and adjust them in real time to optimize performance
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and keep the environment pristine
• Interview, hire and mentor team members, and hold regular team meetings
• Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labor costs effectively
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and oversee uniform and laundry services
• Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement
• Attend mandatory training sessions and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• At least two years of housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality
• At least two years of housekeeping or guest service leadership experience
• Previous experience with the Opera Property Management System preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and lift items up to 25 lbs
