Room Attendant

About the role

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a reimagined oceanfront resort in South Beach, is looking for a detail-driven Room Attendant. The team supports 790 renovated guestrooms and suites, direct beach access, an oceanfront pool deck, Sea Spa, six restaurants and lounges and more than 65,000 square feet of meeting space. The role combines efficiency with care to keep every room feeling like a home away from home.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms and bathrooms to Loews Hotels' standards.
• Replace linens and amenities and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Organize cleaning carts and linen closets so supplies are stocked and used properly.
• Report lost items, suspicious behaviour and irregularities to supervisors.
• Attend departmental meetings and help in related areas when needed.
• Tell guests accurate information about hotel facilities and services.
• Maintain a professional appearance, follow uniform standards and give friendly, helpful guest service.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and departmental procedures for chemicals and emergencies.
• Work regular shifts, attend all mandatory training and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning, hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Able to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to push, lift and pull items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
