Housekeeping Manager

About the role

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a reimagined oceanfront resort in South Beach, is looking for a passionate, detail-driven Housekeeping Manager. The role leads the housekeeping team behind 790 renovated guestrooms and suites, direct beach access, an oceanfront pool deck, Sea Spa, six restaurants and lounges, and more than 65,000 square feet of meeting space. Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily housekeeping operations so rooms and public spaces meet Loews' exacting standards
• Analyze room turns and staffing needs and adjust them in real time to optimise performance
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures that drive efficiency and keep the environment pristine
• Interview, hire and mentor team members, and hold regular team meetings to share updates, celebrate wins and address challenges
• Maintain optimal staffing levels and manage labour costs effectively
• Coordinate with other hotel departments and oversee uniform and laundry services
• Evaluate team performance and coach for continuous improvement
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings, and perform other duties as assigned

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
• At least two years of housekeeping experience in hotel hospitality
• At least two years of housekeeping or guest service leadership experience
• Previous experience with the Opera Property Management System preferred
• Able to stand for long periods and to push, pull and lift items up to 25 lbs
