Room Attendant

About the role

Loews Miami Beach Hotel, a reimagined oceanfront resort in South Beach, is looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Room Attendant. The team supports 790 renovated guestrooms and suites, direct beach access, an oceanfront pool deck, Sea Spa, six restaurants and lounges, and more than 65,000 square feet of meeting space. Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards.
• Replace linens and amenities, and report maintenance needs such as broken light bulbs or defective equipment.
• Report suspicious behaviour, lost items, unsecured valuables and other discrepancies to supervisors.
• Keep cleaning carts and linen closets organised and stocked, and use supplies properly.
• Attend departmental meetings and provide coverage in related areas when needed.
• Know hotel facilities, locations and opening hours to help guests accurately.
• Work the scheduled shift in uniform, maintaining professional and friendly guest relations.
• Follow OSHA safety protocols, emergency procedures, chemical use and safe work practices, and comply with housekeeping and hotel policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; previous cleaning, hotel or resort experience preferred.
• Basic English skills preferred.
• Able to walk, stand, reach and bend, and to lift and move items up to 25 lbs repeatedly during a shift.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
