Roark Key Holder - Boulder

About the role

Roark, part of Archipelago Cos, is looking for a Key Holder to join its adventure lifestyle brand team at its Boulder, Colorado retail store. The Key Holder provides exceptional customer service, maximizes revenue and handles periodic opening and closing duties, including opening the business, setting up, shutting down and managing the drawer and daily revenue drop.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in growing revenue through sales, guest experience, employee relations and operations aligned with Roark's culture and retail principles.
• Run standard store product flow, restocking, back-of-house operations, supply needs and daily maintenance, and uphold visual merchandising standards.
• Oversee Cashwrap and POS procedures, reconcile tills, process returns, exchanges, gift cards and discounts, and open and close the store per standard procedures.
• Deliver personalized, high-level customer service, resolve customer issues calmly and communicate customer feedback to leadership.
• Keep the retail floor clean and presentable, manage inventory so the store stays well-stocked, and help with back-of-house duties such as receiving and placing product.
• Be an expert on Roark's product lines, current fashion trends and the competition, and promote the point-of-sale process across registers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree required; one year of sales and merchandising experience (preferably retail goods) with opening and closing duties.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 15 pounds and use ladders or stairs.
• Preferred: knowledge of action sports, climbing and camping, and a passion for the outdoors.

Required skills

• POS sales experience, including Shopify.
• Strong verbal and written communication, time management and organizational skills.
