About the role

The RN Weekender Flex position in the Medical ICU at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital offers a unique schedule that provides full‑time status and benefits while working 36 hours per week. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 26‑bed unit.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient conditions, and document accurately.
Educate patients and families, and coordinate discharge planning.

Required profile

Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
One year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.
Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support required for critical care.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
