New Grad RN Resident – Med/Surg Telemetry (Night Shift)

About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital as a New Grad RN Resident on the Med/Surg Telemetry unit, providing acute inpatient care to adults recovering from a variety of conditions. This night‑shift position offers hands‑on experience within a Magnet‑recognized, award‑winning team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care alongside a success coach, assisting fellow caregivers.
• Establish and revise patient care priorities based on acuity, preference, and resource availability.
• Respond to clinical data indicating patient risk and take corrective action.
• Seek supervision or consultation when unable to perform safely and independently.
• Document all care activities accurately in patients’ medical records.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• New graduate or less than one year of RN experience, or equivalent acute care experience.

Required skills
