RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

About the role

The Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital provides advanced medical services such as hemodynamic monitoring and continuous respiratory care. As an RN, you will support patients from admission through discharge, ensuring a healing environment and delivering education to patients and families.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions, including vital signs and treatment responses.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about care plans, discharge needs, and health management.

Required profile

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays.

Required skills

• Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring.
• Experience with continuous respiratory care.
• Ability to administer medications and perform clinical interventions.
