RN – Postpartum Mother/Baby Unit

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Registered Nurse for the Postpartum Mother/Baby Unit at Fairview Hospital. This night‑shift position (7:00 pm‑7:30 am) includes on‑call responsibilities and provides direct nursing care to new mothers and their infants.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with hospital policies and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and update patient care plans, documenting conditions and administering medications.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge needs, and communicate with the care team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and one year of acute‑care or military RN experience.
• Basic Life Support certification; ACLS certification required for critical‑care areas.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if applicable).
