RN - Neonatal ICU (NICU)

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital NICU is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct, family‑centered care for critically ill neonates and extremely low birth weight infants during night shifts with on‑call responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care to neonates, following established policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Implement, monitor, and adjust patient care plans; record and communicate patient conditions.
• Administer medications, treatments, and advanced respiratory therapies such as high‑frequency ventilation and inhaled nitric oxide.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) with current RN licensure.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• At least one year of acute‑care hospital experience or equivalent military RN experience.

Required skills
