RN – Med/Surg & Telemetry

About the role

Join the 5 Pavilion Medical Care and Telemetry unit at Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital, a Magnet‑recognized facility. As a Registered Nurse you will provide acute inpatient care to adults recovering from medical and surgical conditions during night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patients’ conditions and vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and follow physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge planning.
• Document all care activities accurately in the electronic health record.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• One year of acute care RN experience or equivalent military RN experience.
• Ability to work night shifts with rotating weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (if hired in critical care area).
• Medication administration and IV therapy.
• Patient monitoring and telemetry equipment operation.
• Accurate clinical documentation.
