About the role

The Medical/Surgical unit at Union Hospital seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. This full-time position supports patients with chronic illnesses and post‑operative needs, offering opportunities for professional growth within the Cleveland Clinic system.

Key responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to patients on the 6100 Medical Floor.
Implement, monitor, and update individualized patient care plans.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and document patient conditions.
Assess and coordinate discharge planning and educate patients and families.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
At least one year of acute care RN experience or military RN experience.

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
RN licensure and ability to administer medications.
Patient assessment and care planning.
Experience in acute care or post‑operative settings.
