About the role

Join Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio, as a Department Supervisor for Patient Access. You will lead a team of caregivers, ensuring a collaborative environment and high-quality patient care.

Key responsibilities

  • Supervise daily operations of caregivers and maintain staffing levels.
  • Approve and schedule paid time off and leave requests.
  • Provide leadership, training, orientation, and education to staff.
  • Analyze workflow, identify improvement opportunities, and implement process enhancements.
  • Ensure cross‑coverage and develop an effective work team.
  • Communicate policies and support morale‑building activities.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2 years of experience as a work leader, team lead, or project manager, OR 1 year of supervisory experience in a related field.
  • Preferred: Associate’s Degree and healthcare registration experience.

Required skills

  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights.
  • Corrected vision and hearing within normal range.
  • Computer operation proficiency.
