About the role

The RN will lead patient care on the Medicine Specialty Unit at Kings Hwy, applying the nursing process within the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. This PRN position requires strong clinical judgment, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and staff.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members.
Communicate and manage nursing team resources effectively.
Use data and evidence‑based practice to promote optimal outcomes.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
