Imaging New Graduate Radiologic Technologist

About the role

This entry‑level imaging position involves assessing patients and safely performing routine radiographic procedures in accordance with safety protocols. The role also includes mentoring junior staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and ensure accurate procedure selection.
• Operate radiographic equipment independently, including placement of tubes, IVs, and administration of contrast as needed.
• Review images for diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Complete quality‑control procedures and assist with departmental operations such as inventory and equipment maintenance.
• Communicate procedure details to patients and adapt interactions to diverse patient populations.

Required profile

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT registration or eligibility (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• Current unrestricted state license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on‑call availability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with radiology information systems and imaging equipment.
• Computer literacy for software and web‑based applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
