RN Float Pool – Night Shift

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Fairview Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses for its Float Pool to provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care across multiple units during night shifts (7:00 pm – 7:30 am). This PRN position offers exposure to a wide range of specialties within a Magnet‑recognized facility.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and respond to physician orders.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient transitions.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to safety and infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ACLS certification required for critical‑care areas.
• Two years of recent related nursing experience for external applicants (internal candidates may have less).

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (when applicable).
• Registered Nurse licensure.
