RN – Endoscopy

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Endoscopy will provide direct patient care in the Endoscopy department at Fairview Hospital, a Magnet‑recognized facility within the Cleveland Clinic Health System. This PRN position works day shifts and supports patients throughout their endoscopic procedures and recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and vital signs.
• Execute physician and nursing orders, including medication administration.
• Assess discharge needs and coordinate patient education.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Diploma, ADN, or BSN).
• Current state RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification at hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification for critical‑care areas (by hire or within first year).

Required skills

• RN licensure and clinical competency.
• BLS certification.
• PALS certification.
• ACLS certification (if applicable).
