About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide emergency medicine care in the OALH Emergency Department on an as‑needed (PRN) basis, delivering patient‑centered care within the Nursing Process and adhering to professional standards.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while ensuring quality outcomes.
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and educate patients and families.
Maintain documentation and data entry using hospital computer systems.

Required profile

Current RN license in the state of practice.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification within 30 days of hire.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 90 days of hire.

Required skills

Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and data entry.
Computer literacy for retrieving and documenting patient information.
