About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide private‑duty nursing and RN delegation across private homes, adult family homes, and assisted‑living communities. The role involves managing a small caseload, establishing care plans, and delivering skilled nursing visits.

Key responsibilities

Provide 1:1 private duty nursing, including care for patients with tracheostomy, ventilators, or TPN.
Admit patients, set care goals, and maintain individualized plans of care.
Coordinate care with providers and interdisciplinary teams.
Delegate care to caregivers and educate nurses, families, and patients.
Offer float delegation coverage and RN support to community sites.

Required profile

Current Washington State RN license in good standing.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum one year of nursing experience (new grads considered for case‑manager role).

Required skills

Basic Life Support (BLS).
