Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN) – Full‑Time or Part‑Time

About the role

Journey Nursing Services is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one‑on‑one private duty nursing in homes and community settings across Western Washington. Both new graduates and experienced nurses are welcome, with full training, mentorship, and flexible scheduling.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver skilled, one‑on‑one nursing care to medically complex pediatric and adult patients in private homes, adult family homes, or assisted‑living communities.
• Perform nursing assessments, administer medications, implement individualized care plans, and document care in electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to ensure high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Required profile

• Current Washington State RN or LPN license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills, compassionate approach, and ability to work independently.
