RN Ambulatory Team Lead – Internal Medicine

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks an RN Ambulatory Team Lead for the Internal Medicine department at Marymount Hospital in Garfield Heights. This full‑time position coordinates daily operations, supports patient care, and mentors nursing staff in an ambulatory setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and resolve daily operational issues for the ambulatory team.
• Provide direct professional nursing care to a specific patient population across multiple ambulatory settings.
• Oversee clinical oversight, ensuring quality and safe care for assigned caregivers and patients.
• Facilitate orientation, teaching, coaching, and mentoring of assigned caregivers.
• Participate in quality improvement, process improvement, and research activities to enhance patient outcomes and safety.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with current state RN licensure.
• Minimum two years of recent RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Ability to travel to Cleveland Clinic regional locations as needed.
• Physical ability to perform full range of motion, manual dexterity, and lift light loads.

Required skills

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proficiency in ambulatory nursing workflows and documentation.
