RMA Test/Repair Technician

About the role

The RMA Test/Repair Technician will work in our Newburgh, IN lab to inspect, clean, test, troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies and finished goods returned by customers. This role is essential for maintaining product quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Track and prioritize incoming returned products, receive and log them for traceability.
• Clean, disassemble and reassemble assemblies to prepare for testing.
• Perform functional and electrical testing using multimeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.
• Diagnose faults, conduct root‑cause analysis and decide on repair versus scrap.
• Document test results, repairs and generate validation reports for warranty claims.
• Maintain inventory of components, tools and consumables and keep the work area organized and safe.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent; 2+ years of experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting or repair.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and effective communication.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.

• Soldering and de‑soldering techniques.
