About the role
Barilla is seeking dedicated individuals to join its pasta packaging team in Ames, IA. Operators work on a flexible 2‑2‑3 shift pattern, handling both day and night shifts while ensuring top‑quality pasta products are produced.
Key responsibilities
- Load packaging materials onto packaging machines.
- Perform quality checks throughout the shift.
- Make mechanical adjustments to equipment as needed.
- Follow a flexible (2‑2‑3) shift schedule, including every other weekend.
Required profile
- Previous experience in production or food manufacturing.
- General working knowledge of computers.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMP) is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and related programs is a plus.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
