Night Shift Packaging Operator

About the role

Barilla is seeking dedicated individuals to join the pasta packaging team on the night shift in Ames, IA. Operators are responsible for loading packaging materials, performing quality checks, and making mechanical adjustments as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Load packaging materials onto packaging machines.
• Perform quality checks on packaged products.
• Make mechanical adjustments to equipment as required.

Required profile

• Previous work experience in production or food manufacturing.
• General working knowledge of computers.
• Availability to work a flexible 2‑2‑3 shift pattern and every other weekend.

Required skills

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and good manufacturing practices (GMPs).
• Familiarity with food safety, HACCP, and related programs (cleaning, sanitation, pest management).
