Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

The Manufacturing Engineer will collaborate with global 3M teams to drive safety, quality, service, and cost improvements in assigned manufacturing areas. You will support daily operations, lead continuous improvement projects, and provide engineering support across the value stream.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety, quality, service, and cost improvements.
• Participate in daily tier process, EHS activities, MOC change management, OEE analysis, and performance gap resolution.
• Lead continuous improvement projects using project management tools.
• Apply statistical analysis and PPU to improve processes and troubleshoot defects.
• Manage strategic source‑of‑supply projects and drive capital investment, new product introductions, and new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering or Science.
• At least two years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills.
