Risk Data Analyst

About the role

Join BILL as a Risk Data Analyst to support the Risk Management division at scale. You will work on program and vendor coordination, build automation frameworks, and manage project trackers that help protect hundreds of thousands of SMBs using our financial automation platform.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic portfolio plans, applying statistical techniques to identify performance patterns and early risk indicators.
• Design and maintain operating frameworks, experimenting with AI‑assisted tools to automate manual workflows.
• Create advanced dashboards in Tableau, AWS QuickSight, or similar tools to deliver insights to sponsors and leadership.
• Manage third‑party vendor relationships, track performance metrics, conduct evaluations, and oversee budget and ROI.
• Align cross‑functional stakeholders by maintaining project trackers, defining timelines, and communicating recommendations.
• Partner with risk analysts and data scientists to formulate control strategy recommendations based on data analysis.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in risk management, portfolio analytics, program management, or a related fintech/financial services role.
• Proven ability to own medium‑scale, cross‑functional programs with autonomy over deliverables and timelines.
• Hands‑on experience managing third‑party vendors, tracking performance and ROI.
• Strong knowledge of payment products and risk principles across credit, fraud, or reputational domains.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for multi‑level audiences.
