Revenue Lead, Self-Storage

About the role

SafeLease is seeking a Revenue Lead to own distribution, servicing, and customer success for its self‑storage insurance portfolio. You will drive the commercial engine of the business unit, managing both direct‑to‑operator channels and a growing network of retail agents and brokers.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute distribution strategy across all self‑storage insurance products, balancing direct and agent channels.
• Build and scale the retail agent/broker channel, including onboarding, activation, and relationship management.
• Own the end‑to‑end servicing experience, establishing operational workflows and automation.
• Drive net revenue retention through proactive account management, upsell, and cross‑sell initiatives.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, underwriting and engineering teams to align pipeline and product development.

Required profile

• 10+ years in revenue leadership, distribution or commercial roles within insurance, insurtech or B2B financial services.
• Deep familiarity with the self‑storage industry and existing relationships with operators, REITs or aggregators.
• Proven track record of building and scaling distribution channels and owning a revenue quota or P&L.
• Experience thriving in high‑growth environments and building processes/teams from scratch.

Required skills

• Experience with self‑storage management software platforms such as SiteLink, storEDGE or Hummingbird.
