Account Executive – Property & Casualty Insurance

About the role

SafeLease is seeking an Account Executive to grow its Property & Casualty insurance line for self‑storage facilities. You will drive sales, tailor coverage, and act as the primary liaison between owners and our underwriting team.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with self‑storage property owners and key stakeholders nationwide.
• Quote, negotiate, and secure new and renewal P&C insurance policies.
• Customize policy coverages and deductibles to match each customer’s specific needs.
• Collaborate with underwriters to provide accurate information promptly.
• Support customers on coverages, premiums, endorsements, accounting, or claims.
• Represent SafeLease at industry events and travel as required.

Required profile

• 5+ years selling property and casualty insurance with a current license.
• Strong networker with a proven ability to maintain a large book of relationships.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Motivated to help build a newer line of business in a fast‑growing insurance startup.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of insurance coverage forms and policies.
• Experience with non‑admitted/surplus lines policies (a plus).
• Familiarity with the self‑storage or commercial real‑estate sector (a plus).
