Director, Central (Austin)

About the role

Rox is looking for a Director to own the Central theater for strategic and enterprise sales in Austin. You will hire, coach, and ramp Account Executives who sell a new revenue operating system to sophisticated GTM buyers, staying close to deals and setting high standards for pipeline generation and value‑based selling.

Key responsibilities

• Own Central theater revenue outcomes, including forecasting, pipeline health, and AE attainment.
• Hire, coach, and hold a high bar for Strategic Account Executives across the Central region.
• Participate in strategic deals, handling executive alignment, competitive positioning, and close plans.
• Build an outbound‑heavy motion where AEs generate their own pipeline.
• Partner with Product and Solutions to shape messaging, demos, and roadmap based on field learning.
• Establish operating cadence such as 1:1s, deal reviews, territory plans, and hiring funnel hygiene.

Required profile

• Proven sales leadership experience building and coaching enterprise or strategic AE teams.
• Strong individual contributor background closing value‑based, consultative deals ranging from $100K to $2M+.
• Deep knowledge of sales playbooks like Challenger, MEDDPICC, or similar.
• Track record of hiring and developing A‑players, not just managing inherited headcount.
• Comfort operating in early‑stage ambiguity, preferably in teams under ~150 people.
• Executive presence with CIOs, CROs, and other senior leaders; hunter mindset.

Required skills

• Value‑based, consultative selling methodology.
• Experience with sales frameworks such as Challenger or MEDDPICC.
