Remote Services Sales Manager

About the role

ABB is hiring a Services Sales Manager, reporting to the Service Sales Manager, to drive service sales processes, generate service sales opportunities and secure profitable sales in the assigned areas. The role focuses on Installed Base (IB) penetration and selling the full Service product portfolio, while building long-term customer relationships and responding quickly to customer needs. The work model is remote.

Key responsibilities

• Provide sales leadership for assigned customers through strategies that meet their business needs using ABB services and technology
• Build customer relationships throughout their organization
• Support customers in identifying new opportunities to improve reliability, productivity or business objectives
• Negotiate contracts as required
• Keep up to date on market trends, competition, customer trends, installed base and pricing for supported services or products
• Maintain accurate records of opportunities and dispositions, and recommend continued growth

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma / GED with at least 5 years of experience in an industrial or utility sales role
• At least 3 years of experience in sales, field services or marketing with customer development in a pre-order role
• At least 3 years of experience selling products and services related to electrical power studies, switchgear, drives, motors and transformers
• Ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a valid passport and driver's license, and to travel within the district
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

What we offer

• Expected annual salary of $100,500 to $160,800, bonus eligible
